This programme is targeted at experienced professionals looking to return to work after an extended career break of 18 months or more as at May 2024. You may have been working on a small-scale basis to fit around your other commitments or have not done any paid work for a number of years.

About the Programme
- The programme offers a professionally paid placement of 6 months, from May to November 2024
- There will be a strong likelihood of a permanent role at the end of the programme
- To support your transition back into the workplace, you will receive an internal mentor and a buddy for your day-to-day questions

- As part of the cross-company programme, you will have a ready-made peer support group of other returners re-entering the insurance sector
Opportunities on the Programme
The finance department at Fidelis MGU is a crucial component of the company’s overall operations. It is responsible for managing the financial resources and ensuring the financial health of the company. The teams cover Financial Planning and Analysis, Management Accounting, Tax, Financial Accounting, Credit Control, Treasury and Cash.
This team is seeking skills relating to Technical Accounting, Credit Control, Tax Reporting and Financial Accounting.
IT and Data
The IT and Data teams play a crucial role in supporting the infrastructure and data of the company. The IT teams are at the forefront of managing the company’s technology and ensuring seamless operation across all levels of the organisation. The teams cover Infrastructure Management, Data Quality and Reporting, Application Development and Support and IT Security as well as Front Line User support.
They are looking for experience in First and Second Line support, Development, Data management.
Business and Technical Operations
Technical operations are the team responsible for ensuring all activity relating to risks written by Fidelis and any changes to those risks are appropriately captured and reflected in their systems. The operations teams are involved in all operational aspects of the risks they write including Premium Management, Binding, Endorsement and Electronic Message Processing. The Operational teams are a crucial part of the underwriting process.
They are looking for experience in any aspect of Premium Management, Messaging or Endorsements.
