New ground won’t break itself

Grant Thornton is excited to partner with Women Returners to launch their 2023 Returner Programme, supporting experienced and talented professionals to successfully return to the workplace after an extended career break (18 months +). During your career break you may have been working on a small-scale basis to fit around your other commitments or have not carried out any paid work for a number of years.

The programme is taking place within Grant Thornton’s Advisory practice. They provide a variety of organisations with the advice and solutions they need to unlock sustainable growth and navigate complex risks and challenges.

You’ll work in a hybrid way, in the office, from home and on client site, getting to the heart of how their clients work and the challenges they face. Making the most of your experience and client management skills, you’ll help their clients mitigate risks and work more effectively. Find out more about their advisory services here

What’s in it for you

  • The Returner Programme offers a paid placement of six months, starting in January 2023, with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the assignment
  • You will receive regular coaching support from Women Returners to help you to transition successfully back into the workplace; you will also receive a 1:1 coach from Grant Thornton
  • They’re happy to consider flexible working patterns, reduced or condensed hours and home working
